A great tool and one that I promote to my clients is Crazy Egg. This great site offers you to get some great information on your site stats and what your users are doing as they browse your site. This tool allows you to test your site and where people click and flow through your site.

The service is quick and easy to setup and the instructions are clear and consise to get your account up and running.

Getting Started with Crazy Egg:

  1. Setup an account with Crazy Egg
  2. Enter the URL of the page you want to track
  3. Enter how long the test will run
  4. Paste one line of javascript on your page
  5. Done!

The Results you get from Crazy Egg

Heatmap

Dig a little deeper and find out where people click based upon the things like: Top 15 Referrers, Search Terms, Operating System, Browser, etc… Ever want to know what type of traffic clicks more ads? Confetti can tell you the answer!
